Terms and Conditions - Ealing Storage
Welcome to Ealing Storage. By utilizing our storage services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully to understand your rights and obligations.
1. Definitions
"Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions, along with any other documents referenced herein.
"Customer" means the individual or entity entering into this Agreement with Ealing Storage.
"Storage Unit" refers to the designated space rented by the Customer for storing personal or business items.
2. Booking and Reservations
To reserve a storage unit, the Customer must complete the booking process either online or in-person. A valid identification and payment information are required at the time of booking.
- Reservation Confirmation: Upon successful booking, a confirmation email will be sent to the Customer.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the reservation start time will incur no charges.
3. Payment Terms
Payments for storage units are due monthly in advance. Accepted payment methods include debit/credit cards and bank transfers.
- Late Payments: Payments not received within five days after the due date will incur a late fee of £25.
- Non-Payment: Persistent non-payment may result in the suspension of access to the storage unit.
4. Use of Storage Units
The storage unit is to be used solely for the storage of personal or business items. Prohibited items include:
- Flammable or explosive materials
- Hazardous chemicals
- Perishable goods
- Illegal items
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their stored items comply with safety regulations.
5. Access to Storage Units
Customers have access to their storage units between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM, seven days a week. After-hours access can be arranged upon request and may incur additional fees.
5.1 Security Measures
Ealing Storage employs various security measures, including CCTV surveillance, secure fencing, and individual unit alarms, to ensure the safety of stored items.
6. Liability
Ealing Storage is not liable for any loss or damage to the Customer’s items unless caused by the negligence of our staff. Customers are encouraged to obtain insurance for their stored goods.
7. Insurance
While Ealing Storage offers insurance options, it is the Customer’s responsibility to insure their belongings adequately. We recommend reviewing your insurance policy to understand the coverage.
8. Termination of Agreement
Either party may terminate this Agreement with a 30-day written notice. Upon termination, the Customer must remove all items from the storage unit within the specified period.
- Early Termination: May be subject to a termination fee equivalent to one month’s rent.
- Abandoned Property: Items left in the storage unit beyond the termination period may be disposed of at the Customer’s expense.
9. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
10. Changes to Terms and Conditions
Ealing Storage reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of significant changes via email or postal mail.
11. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall first be attempted to be resolved through amicable negotiations. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement: These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Customer and Ealing Storage.
Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
No Waiver: Failure by Ealing Storage to enforce any term shall not constitute a waiver of that term or any other terms.
